Hi — I'm an engineer who spends most days somewhere between a Terraform plan and a JVM thread dump. Five years of it now: building the platform, then being on call for it, which is the part that teaches you things.

This site is my notebook. When something takes me two days to work out, it ends up here in a form I could have read on day one. Some notes are single problems; some grow into series when one answer keeps needing the one before it.
